The Audacity documentation says that when you connect the Pyle Machine into your computer, you will see an option called "USB Audio Codec" in your sound tray. Changing the setting in Audacity to "Stereo Mix" will apparently not override that.

Mix, 2 channel recording, both the left and right channels are displaying the same sound waves, and more significantly, even though Stereo Mix is set as the default recorder in the Sound tray, you can see that in the little "sound meter" in the sound tray, However, when the Plyle Player/recorder is plugged into the PC, the PC only recognizes it as "USB PnP Microphone." That is, while recording in Audacity, even though I have it set to Stereo (Microphone) set to Stereo Mix, and have selected 2 channel recording. It's enabled as the default in my sound tray.
